Japan’s Ministry of Land Wants Your Opinion on the Japanese Real Estate Market

Real Estate Japan has been tasked by Japan’s Ministry of Land to conduct the following survey on behalf of the Ministry.

The purpose of this survey is to gather information and data on the areas in which non-Japanese may have difficulty understanding real estate sale and purchase transactions, renting, and property management in Japan.

The results of this survey will be used by the Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT)’s Construction Industry and International Affairs Division to establish guidelines and policies for making it easier for non-Japanese to carry out transactions in the real estate market.

This is a short 9 question survey that can be completed in 5 minutes or less, and is a unique opportunity for you to have your voice reflected in the government’s future guidelines and policies on the real estate market.

Also, Real Estate Japan will not share your email address with third parties. All valid survey responses will be automatically entered to win one of ten ¥1,000 Amazon gift cards. Winners will be notified via the email address you provide below.

Thank you to everyone who participated. The survey is now closed.

We will be contacting the winners of the Amazon gift cards in the first week of March.
